Foster Youth & Parent Summit

CALL FOR PRESENTERS AND MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKERS
FAPAC is searching for presenters who specialize in childcare development, foster care, parenting, behavior management, youth engagement, or emotional support to lead parent workshops at the 2025 Foster Youth and Parent Summit.
Additionally, FAPAC is seeking a dynamic and engaging motivational speaker to give a 30-minute motivational speech to youth and parents, together. Motivational speaker should be knowledgeable of child welfare or the foster care system.

YOUTH
Earn $200
Earn $200 for attending all sessions: Saturday and Sunday – full-day sessions. Must attend ALL sessions to receive stipend.

FOSTER PARENTS
15 Credit Hours
Foster Parents will engage in interesting and informative workshops to receive 15 Hours towards their CFSA license.
Cost = $50
Youth in foster care, aged between 17-23 and foster parents are invited to join us, for this amazing learning and fun experience. During the weekend-long event, youth will gain great insight on various topics, including career tracks, financial management, self-care, and housing information after they exit foster care. Youth will connect with their peers, amazing speakers, and enjoy fun games and prizes. Parents will engage in informative workshops and earn 15 credit hours towards their fostering license.
