ABOUT THE FAMILIES GROWING STRONGER TOGETHER (FGST) PROGRAM
EARN $250 FOR COMPLETING THE PROGRAM!
The FGST program is a prevention program where 15-20 parents meet weekly and learn practical and compassionate parenting skills. Parents navigate the Effective Black Parenting curriculum while earning incentives and are guided by experienced trainers. FGST currently works with any parent who is not involved in child welfare to build protective factors and facilitate family strengthening and positive parent-child relationships. Participants receive incentives for continued participation and program completion.

The most helpful part about the program was learning different parenting techniques and hearing of others’ experiences. Additionally being held accountable for the changes within my own home.
The lessons we learned we’re really valuable to me. But I also really appreciated the incentives we received to complete the program.
