New and Flexible Training Times Based on Parent Feedback
Presenter: Gary Shulman, M.S., Ed.
This session deals with techniques and strategies to successfully communicate and parenting children who have experienced trauma and are now with foster parents. It also deals with the specific parenting needs for those children in care who have disabilities. We will share information about effective communication, setting boundaries, routines, positive reinforcement, allowing for a safe environment to discuss the past trauma and helping the child realize their potential.
