A native Washingtonian, Marilyn Egerton has served as FAPAC’s Deputy Director since its inception. She and her husband, Eddie, have fostered more than three dozen vulnerable young people at particularly tough times in their lives, helping to make things a little easier for them. Sixteen children have become permanent parts of the Egerton family, four by adoption and twelve of whom the Egerton’s have made a lifetime commitment. Also a classically trained singer who performed professionally for decades, Marilyn has generously lent her voice and enlisted her band to support FAPAC’s work. Marilyn and her band have performed at several FAPAC Valentine’s Day concerts and fundraising house parties, and recorded and released a CD, “What About the Children” to benefit FAPAC’s work on behalf of DC children and families.
