Judith Sandalow is Executive Director of the Children’s Law Center, which provides legal services to at-risk children and their families and advocates for changes in the law and its implementation. Previously, Judith developed a successful criminal defense practice specializing in representation of juveniles charged with serious crimes. She served as a Juvenile Justice Fellow at Georgetown University Law Center and created a juvenile clinic at DC Law Students in Court. Judith earned her law degree from Yale University. A founding board member of FAPAC, Judith is also a member of the Leadership Washington class of 2004 and serves on the Advisory Board of the DC Fiscal Policy Institute. Judith was a DC foster parent in the 1990s and is the adoptive mother of two boys from the DC child welfare system.
