Families Growing Stronger Together Program (FGST)

Earn $1,150 for completing the entire program!

This program is provided through the support of Georgia Avenue Family Support Collaborative. Utilizing the Effective Black Parenting curriculum and strengthening it with an intensive and comprehensive support component, FGST is a combined support group/parenting class for parents who are 25 years of age or under, or ANY parent who is parenting a child between the ages of 0-12 years of age. The purpose of the group is to build peer relationships, support and parenting skills among participants. FGST currently works with any parent who is not child welfare involved to build protective factors and to facilitate family strengthening and positive parent-child relationships. Participants receive incentives for continued participation and program completion.
