SUMMARY:Annual Foster Youth and Parent Summit
DESCRIPTION:Youth in foster care\, aged between 14-21 and foster parents are invited to join us\, for this amazing learning and fun experience. Parents and Youth do not need to be living together. During the weekend-long event\, youth will gain great insight on various topics\, including career tracks\, financial management\, self-care\, and housing information after they exit foster care. Youth will connect with their peers\, amazing speakers\, and enjoy fun games and prizes. Parents will engage in informative workshops and earn credit hours towards their fostering license. \n>>REGISTER

SUMMARY:Christmas for Kids in Foster Care
DESCRIPTION:We host a holiday event each year for several hundred children and families in foster care who have been separated from their siblings. During this heartfelt reunification event\, every child who attends receives a gift and enjoys reconnecting with family through fun activities\, pictures with Santa\, and a great meal. Please support our efforts to bring families together by hosting a gift drive or donating to help us reach our goal of 300 gifts and $30\,000. Contact us at info@dcfapac.org for more information.
