CALENDAR AND EVENTS
 

FAPAC hosts trainings on an array of topics to help foster, kinship and adoptive families to meet the complex needs of the children in their homes. Topics we offer include: Understanding health and mental health needs; Accessing services for health and mental health needs; Understanding DC and MD Medicaid; Healing the Invisible Hidden Wounds of Exposure to Violence: Children in the Child Welfare system.

Training calendars are rotated based upon community need and interest. If you are a foster, kinship or adoptive parent for the District child welfare system, please feel free to contact us with your request for any of these training sessions or other areas of need.
